13 man chores that STILL need to be done
1) after 13 years in the house i STILL need baseboards.
c'mon guys! just one room would tickle me to death!
2) the garbage disposal has been defunct for 10 years and
the kitchen sink STILL leaks
3) i STILL have only 1/3 of a dining room floor
4) the toilet in the master bath STILL needs to be taken
up and the lens from HIS glasses removed so it will flush
properly (2/10/08-YAY! this actually got done today!
i can flush again! woo hoo!)
5) the front steps STILL need to be replaced before some
one falls through them
6) the christmas decorations STILL need to be carried up
to the attic. BEFORE easter this year.
7) the food storage shelves STILL need to be anchored to
the wall before they tumble down on someone's head. death
by green beans will NOT be a pretty sight!
8) the old dryer and freezer STILL need to be carted to the
dump. they are NOT avant-garde yard art for goodness sake!
9) the back pond STILL needs to be fenced so when small children
visit, they do not have to spend their time living in fear of the geese
and so the ducks can lay their eggs in peace without the dogs eating EACH
AND EVERY ONE!
10) the sliding glass door in the living room is STILL installed upside
down and will not close properly. (don't ask. oi)
11) the dishwasher STILL needs to be fixed and promoted from
it's roll of a $600 dish drainer
12) the hole in the kids bathroom floor STILL needs to be fixed before
someone falls thru and is lost forever in the black hole under the house.
13) we STILL need screens for the bedroom windows so we can actually
open a window without gallon sucker mosquitos carrying us away or
rendering us too anemic to walk.

I can relate! I've fallen down the stairs a couple of times because they need to be repaired. I thought when HE fell down the stairs that they would for sure get fixed but they still aren't. Happy TT! Thanks for stopping by!

That reminds me, I still need to get my baseboards done, and tile the front hall. I'm giving up on the drippy bathroom faucet and calling in a professional because I've redone it five times now and can't get a washer that fits. What? Wait for dh to do it? Hah! Good thing I didn't marry him for his handymanness.

I can sure relate! Baseboards, new doors that don't have some strange kids writing, trim, carpet on the step, electric in the kids rooms, etc.
Houses. That's how they are. Always something that needs fixing. Happy TT!

Whatever's giving you a hard time right now, hang in there. These things suck but you'll find a way to get through it.

i totally relate to this. all thouygh i usually give up waiting fir hubby and do it myself.
HA HA HA HA!!!!! these were great.. and knowing ALL that!! I'd STILL come and visit you... as long as I got the bed with the netting around it!!! LOL LOL!! Death by Greenbeans.. is WAY better than death by mosquito bites!! LOL LOL LOL!!!
