I knew peppermint was good for indigestion but #4 sounds really gross! :-) Great list. Happy Thanksgiving!

#3 sounds like that stuff they offer as you leave an Indian restaurant (or at least they do at the one we go to occasionally, and no, I don't usually walk out with indigestion).

Interesting list.

I'm not so sure about that chicken gizzard thing... I think just staring at it would be relief enough!

And Robin's right about the stuff at the restaurant. The one we like best has it there, too.

Happy TT and have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Thanks for dropping by today, too; I love visitors!

I usually go for either a glass of milk or a cup of ginger tea. Happy TT.

A pinch of sea salt under the tongue works wonders, too.

Great suggestions ~ printing as I type.

Stop by my shits and giggles list for a laugh.

Happy TT!

I don't plan on trying chicken gizzards but I'm appreciative of the list. LOL

Happy Thanksgiving :)

Some of these I knew, some are completely new to me. Hope you don't have to try them all at once. ;)

I was involved in four TTs this week:

A friend gave me a tip and I never bought another antacid again.
RAW CELERY! It really works!
If you eat a piece of raw celery it takes away indigestion..I kid you not.
Great list!

Receiving all the wonderful belated birthday wishes from the Thirteeners touched my heart.

I think I knew about peppermint, and I don't think I'll be using chicken gizzards any time soon! Great list!

I usually stick with peppermint to sooth the tummy.

I don't think I could handle #12. I don't think I would be able to stand the smell of myself. Then again, if you don't want people to bother you, that could get rid of unwanted visitors really quick.

At this point, I'd try about anything, since I have a chronic problem. Anything not involving a chicken gizzard, that is!

thanks for the list--some of them might be worth a try.

Joy Renee my wife goes with the vinegar route. She doesn't even add water. Wow and I thought I liked strong flavors. She swears by it.
Great TT.

So, partly for fun and partly because (ahem) I ate too much, I tried to baking soda in water thing.

The first sip wasn't too bad. By the bottom of glass, it was disgusting!

But in 30 minutes, I felt fine. Who knew?
